~Long Time, No Blog~

Wow, I can't believe how long it's since I've posted an entry.

The weather here in North Texas has been just beautiful, sun has been shining, highs in the upper 70's!

Meredith went to her gastro doctor on Friday, her reflux has gotten much worse of late...not sure why. She's going to have an endoscopy done, her last one was March, 2002 so it's been two years almost to the date. They will be checking for damage and swelling and if they find any, the course of treatment will be "more" aggressive than if they don't. Surgical intervention was mentioned seriously for the first time ever...and frankly, I've heard only negative things about having surgery for reflux. On the positive side, she has no pulmonary symtoms at all and her head/sinuses are the most clear they've ever been since birth...I really think that having the picc line in for 21 days last spring did the trick for her sinuses because she's been mostly well ever since.

I really have so much to write but she's pulling on me as we speak and her daddy needs something too...more later~
